I am a mathematics Ph.D. student at the University of Kansas. My advisor is Emily Witt. I received my bachelors degrees in mathematics and in chemical engineering from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. In my free time I enjoy cooking, cycling, and playing disc golf.
In the fall of 2026, I will be on the job market.
I work mainly in commutative algebra, with a focus on local cohomology and related invariants. Specifically, I am interested in describing positive characteristic singularities via the Frobenius morphism, with applications to the theory of D-modules. I highly value explicit computation and concrete examples. I also dabble in algebraic geometry and algebraic combinatorics.
My office is Snow 647. I will be speaking at URiCA the weekend of August 29/30. If I am planning to attend any other conferences, I will add them here.
